UHF Chips are designed for high-participation events where disposable tags are required, such as road running and cycling races.

For Road Running Events

• The tag is placed on the back of the athlete’s race bib.

• Available with or without a 4mm foam spacer—the spacer keeps the tag away from the participant’s body, improving read rates by reducing interference from sweat.

• If using tags without a spacer, we recommend applying two UHF DisposableTags to improve detection.

For Cycling Events

• The tag can be placed on a seat post sticker or helmet sticker.

• No foam spacer is needed, as the tag is not affected by the participant’s body.

Pre-Encoded & Easy to Import

• Each UHF Chip comes pre-encoded, and we provide a chip mapping file for seamless integration with your timing software.
